Heavy Equipment Operator

The successful candidate should have experience operating; skid steer, wheel loader, bull-dozers, track excavator, and front end loaders.

Operators must be capable of performing pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections on equipment and ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies. Ability to operate heavy equipment Preferably 2 years heavy equipment experience but willing to train the right candidate Knowledge of basic vehicle inspection and maintenance including tire pressure, checking oil and water level Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.

Work involves almost constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises. Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50+ pounds.

Heavy Equipment Mechanic

-Performs repairs on all types of heavy equipment.
-Operates equipment to diagnose problems, and inspects
equipment for defects.
-Assists supervisors and co-workers with a variety of mechanic and related tasks as necessary.
-Must be aware of safety precautions and understands safety and occupational hazards of work.
-Must understand and follow service manual.
-Orders parts and properly completes part requisition forms.
-Writes thorough repair summaries.
-Trains other personnel as needed.
-Performs other duties per supervisor's discretion.
-Perform routine inspections which include Preventative Maintenance.

General Laborer

Duties:

• Performs a variety of duties related to the field work of our company
• Measures distances from grade stakes, drives stakes, and stretches tight line
• Bolts, nails, aligns, and blocks up under forms
• Signals operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to conform to grade specifications
• Levels earth to fine grade specifications using a shovel or pick
• Mixes concrete using portable mixer
• Smooths and finishes freshly poured cement or concrete using float, trowel, or screed
• Positions, joins, aligns, and seals pipe sections
• Erects shoring and braces
• Mops, brushes, or spreads paints or bituminous compounds over surfaces for protection
• Applies caulking compounds by hand or with caulking gun to seal crevices
• Performs variety of tasks involving dextrous use of hand and tools, such as sawing lumber, dismantling forms, removing projections from concrete, mounting pipe hangers, and cutting and attaching insulating material
• Installs manhole inlets
• May control traffic
• Prepares soil for seeding
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned
